Do you want to become a Montessori teacher, but can't imagine finding the time? Are you uninterested in being away from friends and family for two entire summers? Do you loathe the idea of spending long, overwhelming days being inundated with Montessori philosophy and material presentations that you can't possibly hope to absorb? If so, you're not alone. That's why we developed The Center for Guided Montessori Studies (CGMS), a new training program sponsored by the International Montessori Council. CGMS has developed a lifestyle-friendly distance-based certification program which we believe is more comprehensive than traditional programs without being so over-whelming.

CGMS offers:

• A faculty of internationally recognized, expert Montessori teacher educators;
• A complete set of beautifully illustrated albums and supplemental materials;
• A highly collaborative group of fellow students and Montessori educators to provide mentorship and support at every step in the process;
• More than 350 hours of excellent video presentations that cover everything normally included in a residential program (and much more), plus ongoing discussion and support;
• A full year of closely supervised student teaching in an authentic Montessori classroom;
• Optional low-residency summer program that can be taken now or later at an IMC training center;
• Montessori Early Childhood Certification from the International Montessori Council (IMC)
